After spending more than a decade in the tax incentives industry, the founder of SBI Consulting came to the conclusion that taxpayers don't always have the full picture when it comes to the tax incentives they are claiming. SBI Consulting's goal is to facilitate the relationship between clients and third party service providers, ensuring that clients always have a partner focused on their specific needs throughout the process.

Ian Merwin
Owner/Founder
Ian is the Owner and Founder of SBI Consulting. Ian has been involved with the tax credit and incentives industry for more than decade. Prior to founding SBI Consulting, Ian worked for multiple national tax credit firms and an international accounting firm. Ian has a BS from Indiana University with honors, a JD with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, and an LLM in Taxation from the New York University School of Law.
